This photo, taken in 1969, of tourists looking into East Germany, captures a period of time when the world was on edge and fear was rampant. Hard to believe Germany was divided so that it could not rise to its former strength and threaten the peace and security of the world.
Makes one wonder if such insanity could happen again?
