This photo of the Japanese Garden at the Henry E. Huntington Art Gallery, today known as The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, is a stunningly beautiful piece of art.
Captured in July of 1955 and recently rediscovered by our preservation team, this photograph was virtually forgotten and unseen for almost 70 years. We had to buy the rights the second we saw it.
This is too beautiful to let slip into the unread pages of history.
